2688 minutes in 21 days

After subtracting for sleep and work, I think that means we spent close to 80% of the last three weeks watching Veronica Mars.

And now it's over.

Forever.

What should I do now?*

*FYI,
given my ridiculously skewed priorities at the moment, I know that "feed starving babies" is a fair and deserved answer. But please , spare me. I'm in mourning.

Veronica Mars is filling a gaping hole for you - and is therefore much more important than feeding starving babies. I mean, just like the airplane air bag thing, you've got to fill yourself up before you can fill up those babies.

I felt the same way in 7th grade when Mary was killed by the big letter "C" on top of the Capwell hotel on my favorite soap opera at the time, Santa Barbara. Mary was my mother figure and when she was so senselessly wiped out, I was bereft. I am not sure I ever quite recovered.

Thus I think my only advice for you is to find a new friend, a new gap filling wonder girl. Perhaps Clare on Heroes. Or that new bionic woman.

But for now, your only job is to grieve. We could have a little funeral for her and the show if you would like.

With much sympathy,

Becca

Thanks for understanding, Becca. I was pretty hysterical last night when Veronica walked off into the rain to end the show--a mixture of sobbing uncontrollably and laughing at myself--but I actually slept well last night (no more worrying about what was going to happen next, I guess), and I feel better able to face the world, Veronicaless, today.
