It was a little intense, though. I mean the fans were pretty engaged most of the game. We all chanted "I-chi-ro" over and over again, etc., but then all of a sudden they put J.J. in during the 7th inning and it was like a totally different stadium. Lights flashing, music pounding, fans screaming. Those of us too dumb to know who he was felt like we had suddenly entered a parallel universe...
Peter Angelos is the owner of the Orioles. He lobbied heavily against DC geting its own team, because it might steal fans from Orioles games. And because he's an a*&^%le.
The BABES and their families had a grand old time at Safeco Field last night, as the Mariners beat the Orioles 4-2.
