Is this normal?
Now that I have a blog, I am constantly viewing the world through the lens of blogability. Like, I'll be walking along, see something of interest and think, "ooh, I should put that on my blog." I rarely remember what it was I wanted to blog about by the time I have a chance to post, mind you, but this processing of my environment and experiences in terms of their potential worthiness for inclusion in my blog happens at least six times a day.

Pretty soon, your whole life will become a screening process with every conversation a potential audition. Meanwhile, I love the word "blogability." Say, the linguistic creativity at play there might make for a good post in itself...
Totally normal. Just wait until you have conversations with people who read your blog annd you wind up repeating something you've said on the blog and they're like "yeah, I read that on your blog."
The blog is everywhere.
Oh good. I'm glad I'm not the only one to whom this happens.
I sometimes wish that I could have a hard-wired file in my brain for blog posts that I could then download at the end of the day. Or a little notepad that I could carry around with me at all times in which I could write stuff down. But the hard-wired option would be cooler.
Of course, you can always do what dl004d does, and just blog from a BlackBerry whenever the mood strikes you... :)
For the record, I do not simply blog from my BB whenever the mood strikes me! I do, however, use it to jot down ideas. But a real-life notepad would do the trick just as well.
And by the way, is anyone else concerned that Marnie just described her ideal scenario as one in which she is part machine? My wife wants to be a robot!
Yeah, well, my husband thinks of himself as a "Robot, Pirate, Monkey," so it could be worse.
Just to clarify--I never said that I wanted to be a "robot," just that I wanted some way to download my blog ideas from my brain to, say, a 1 GB SD card or thumb drive. That's all. I'd keep my actual brain and all other vital organs.
This would be like that episode of Scrubs were JD imagined what it would be like if part of his head were a robot.
Wait, did that ever happen? Because it certainly feels like something that would happen on Scrubs.
Sounds right. Although the only robot episode I can distinctly remember at the moment is the one where JD imagines the "Bad News Robot."
I believe that episode was titled, "My bad news robot."
Really, it happened on Scrubs? Then why can't Zach update his damn blog more often?
